Mountain Engagement Session in Kananaskis

Dan and Megan's mountain engagement session in Kananaskis was one for the books. A stunning lake, clear blue skies, and epic mountains all around us. Weather in the mountains can change drastically, but we were fortunate to have the best evening and the most beautiful sunset. When Megan told me she wanted to end the session with a dip in the lake, I basically squealed with joy. Couples that go the extra mile for pictures really amaze me. Dan and Megan did not disappoint, and we have beautiful images to prove it!

This mountain engagement session reminded me just how fortunate I am to live in such a stunning province. The mountains are only about a 4 hour drive from Edmonton. Every time I visit, I'm in awe of their beauty and magnitude. You can't help but feel small when you're amongst the snow-capped giants. Shooting a photo session in them is the best thing in the world.

Fun fact - Kananaskis is known for grizzly bears, so we were on high alert the whole session. We were lucky enough to encounter one in the ditch that evening - thankfully we were driving! Scroll down to see the blurry capture I snapped from my iPhone!
